Every fridge can use more bling. At least I think so.
I got some ratty old clothes pegs
Painting them black covered up a lot.
I have these great vintage costume jewelry earrings. I love them but they are clip-on and super tight. I’d say I can wear them for about ten minutes before my eyes start to water. So I broke off the backs and stuck them to the pegs. At least that way I get to admire them every day.
Then I grabbed my trusty roll of adhesive magnetic strip, which I will admit I love almost as much as my even more trusty roll of adhesive velcro.
and 15 seconds later, I was done.
I’d say this was a 15 minute project in terms of activity and an evening in terms of painting and drying and then painting the other side etc etc. In terms of cost I’m going to go with $0 as I had everything I needed to hand.
Finally, a glamorous fridge magnet worthy of my lovely family pictures

See, I love these little quick projects you’re doing, they’re so fun and it means that rather than filling your house with disposable crap from Ikea et al, you use up stuff that’s lying around and you get to look at things you’ve made all the time. I think it’s great! Sadly, I have one of those fridges that doesn’t take a magnet, but there you go.
My refrigerator is in awe.
I suddenly feel the urge to raid your jewelry box…
